Abstract　： [Abstract] Research was carried out on the incidence of HBs antigen and the antibody in part-timers at a dental clinic and a dentist office. In this research students in the department of dental hygiene were chosen as the population of the part-timers. Many of the subject are working there at 2 or 3 times a week, for 3 or 4 hours in the evening and in the daytime for vacation seasons. Three series of one-year observation are reported in this paper. From the results of the observation it was found that about 2% students who took part in the work were exposed and infected with HVB. On the contrary, from the group of non-part-timers (control), infected students were not found.
