| Abstract : | Odontogenic myxofibroma is a rare benign tumor which shows locally aggressive and a high recurrence rate. We present a rare case of peripherial myxofibroma of the anterior maxilla in a 32-year-old female patient. At the 18 month follow-up there was no evidence of recurrence of the tumor. The differences in the symptoms and the differential diagnosis are discussed in a review of the literature. |
