Abstract : | [ABSTRACT]We proposed new method for detecting vascular or bone trabecular structure pattern from CT image data. With this method, the objective structure pattern can be detected as binary skeletal pattern by three-dimensional skeleton operation. In this study, we evaluate the accuracy using basic test chart images designed on a personal computer, and cylindrical phantom images obtained by micro CT. As a result, using proposed method, objective structures carl be detected as skeletal patterns from the basic test charts (various frequency, response and background) and cylindrical phantom images. It was indicated that proposed method was useful for the extraction of the microstructure assuming the structural morphometric analysis. |
