Abstract　： In 2006, Kanagawa Dental College started a new research project titled, "Interaction between Brain Activity and Oral Function - Creation of a New Field of Dentistry." The new facilities are called the Research Center of Brain and Oral Science. This project was funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan through a Grant-in-Aid for Open Research. The duration of the project will be five years, from 2006 through 2010. New laboratories and project offices were outfitted in the Research Building of Kanagawa Dental College.
