Abstract　： [Abstract] We make custom made mouth guards for athlete to avoid "sports trauma". In recently, its benefits have been recognized generally. Spreading activities of mouth guard are satisfactory. We think that the next step is to up grade functions of mouth guard. The objective of this presentation is to develop new style mouth guards which have new function and new appearance. Especially, its appearance is more important to unity of team members. We have developed various mouth guards for patients of department of sport dentistry in the Kanagawa Dental College Hospital. They have been designed based on outcomes of our research. We make them by contact-sheet method. In this study, mouth guards which we made were evaluated of its function and appearance by athletes. Custom made mouth guard has benefit for athlete to avoid sports trauma but also to unite of team members. [Introduction] We make custom made mouth guards for athlete to avoid "sports trauma". In recently, its benefits have been recognized generally. Spreading activities of mouth guard are satisfactory.
