Abstract : [Abstract] By the use of an elution test, examinations of blood groups in adults' tartar, hair and nails were done in four quantitative degrees (0.5 mg, 0.3 mg, 0.1 mg and 0.05 mg) of the materials (66 cases each) to compare antigenic properties of different tissues in the same individual. Also, similar examinations were conducted on the hair and nails of 36 infants. As a result, it was possible to determine the blood group from each material in adults, where 0.5 mg or more was found by the method taken by the authors. Among the three kinds of materials, the nail was determinable with the highest frequency, followed by tartar and hair in order. To observe tartar by saliva groups, secretors were more frequently determinable in the blood group than the non-secretors. Whereas similar values were shown in nails for adults and infants, higher values were shown in hair for adults.
