Abstract : | [Abstract] Two arch-length discrepancy cases in the mixed dentition period were treated with serial extraction. Selected deciduous and permanent teeth were removed artificially to permit physiological tooth movement. Both the timing and the order of tooth extraction affected the degree of tooth movement and the final result. It is imperative, therefore, to conduct prudent authoritative examinations both before and during the treatment schedule in order to preserve the patients dental health. |
