Abstract : The development of new materials and techniques are remarkably progressing in the field of crown and bridge works and, consequently, a selection of routine coronal restorations has to be made from various choices. Procelain fused to metal crown (PFMC) has been a valuable addition to prosthetic restorations, and its frequent usage for clinical applications is due to its superior estheticism, tissue affinity and rigidness. However, it is also true that the bonding mechanism of ceramic to metal is not clearly evaluated, and therefore, we were unexpectedly faced with the trouble of fractures after cementation of the restorations due to insufficient constructional procedures and other factors.
