Abstract : [Abstract] The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the siloxane oligomer agents for adhesion of poly (methyl methacrylate) to stainless steel. The oligomers have one or two mercapto groups at the end of the main chain of a molecule. The mean bond strength of those siloxane oligomer primer specimens when immersed in water for 60 days at 37℃ showed no change or a slight decrease compared with those of 3-day water-immersion, while the bond strength of thermo-cycled specimens was slightly reduced compared with those of 60-day water-immersion. It is suggested that application of the siloxane oligomer would be excellent in durability against water.
