Abstract : [Abstract] This is a report describing the cause of oral pain that a patient feels using a full denture while masticating food. At the beginning when the patient noticed the pain, the cause of it was diagnosed as disagreement with the full denture. However, as time proceeded a tumor in the abdomen was recognized in the patient and Candida had extraordinarily developed on the mucosa in the oral cavity. It seems that the Candida growth is an opportunistic infection, and from the results the Candida growth on the mucosa would bring about the pain when the patient is masticating food.
