| Abstract ： | [Abstract] TMJ sounds were measured from patients with TMJ internal derangements. The sound waves were analyzed according to frequency and were displayed three dimensionally by applying STFT. The purpose of this study is to obtain an assessment standard using TMJ sounds in regard to functional disorders. As a result, it was possible to display visually TMJ sound waves in three dimensional planes and this method contributes to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of intra-articular structures for patients with TMJ dysfunction. |
