Abstract : [Abstract] Class II malocclusions with severe crowding in maturing patients can be treated without extraction using a lingual arch appliance and edgewise technique with multiloop edgewise arch wire (MEAW) therapy. Early orthodontic management associated with mandibular repositioning in a Class II skeletal frame may reduce the necessity for permanent teeth extraction in the future. The following case report describes a patient with severe tooth crowding, where the result of treatment was acceptable and relatively stable.
