Abstract　： [Abstract] Development of occlusion in growing children is not well understood. Dentists, especially orthodontists and pedodontists, would like to characterize the change of occlusion with development. Many reports on dentition during development have been published up to the present. Most of them have used two-dimensional measurement on study casts. In the future we need three-dimensional measurement on developmental dentition including oral and occlusal function in growing subjects.
