| Abstract ： | 「抄録」形態および大きさが, ほとんど類似している過剰側切歯が, 上顎左側切歯部の同一歯列に併存する珍らしい症例を報告した. また反対側には, 側切歯と思われる埋状歯および集合性歯牙腫がみられた. このことは, 本症例における過剰側切歯の発生原因に関して, 興味ある示唆を与えるものと考える. 「I はじめに」歯数の異常に関する報告は従来多数行われてきたが, そのうち歯数の過剰症例は, 歯数の不足症例と比較すると, 発現頻度は極めて少ないとされる. これら歯数過剰のうちで, 最も頻度の多いのは, 中切歯で, とくに正中歯 (mesiodense) と呼んで区別しているほどである. ついで上下の小臼歯部, 上下の大臼歯部という順序に出現し, 側切歯の発現率は, 犬歯についで極めて少ない. 藤田は, 過剰側切歯の完全形を具えたものの頻度は極めて小さく, もし発見されたら, その都度報告する価値があるというほど, 稀な症例である. |

| Abstract ： | The author reported an unusual case of an upper left lateral incisor with a supernumerary tooth of similar shape and size. Moreover, an impacted tooth considered to be a lateral incisor and compound odontoma were observed on the opposite side. This was an interesting finding with regard to the origin of supernumerary lateral incisors. |
