| Abstract ： | 「1. まえがき」 上顎永久歯に正中離開がある患者の切歯部のX線写真に1～2本の過剰歯(いわゆる正中歯)が見られることは比較的よくある. 栃原, 栃原, 深田・梶原, 荻原によれば乳歯の過剰歯は永久歯のそれに比較すれば珍らしく, 6才前後の小児に見られる正中歯は乳歯と考えられ, 比較的まれなものとしてThoma, Shaffer, Ackerman, 岡田, 相沢, 佐伯らによって報告されている. これらの奇形歯の報告はX線写真像と肉眼解剖的所見とによるものが多く, 発生学的な根拠を示そうとしたものや奇形歯の組織像を詳しく調べたものはほとんどない. 著者らはこの種の奇形歯の発生学的成因をサルやヒトの胎生期の標本について調べ2, 3の手がかりになる所見を得たので報告する次第である. 2. 材料と方法 6才の少女から抜去して得られた正中過剰歯(mesiodens)とその対照として大人の前歯部に生じた永久過剰歯と推定されたものの双方を研磨標本とした. |

| Abstract ： | A pair of supernumerary dental laminae which were not disintegrated, were found mesially to the primary upper central incisors in two monkey fetuses. These laminae are interpreted by Bolk to be for A A in the primitive dentition of the mammals. A mesiodens from a six-year old girl was examined histologically to be found a deciduous tooth. In order to know how the mesiodens is related to the above-mentioned supernumerary lamina appeared mesially to the deciduous central incisor bud some 500 human fetuses and 15 monkey fetuses were examined as to the dental laminae and the tooth buds. No positive evidence was obtained which was indicative of the functional growth of the supernumerary lamina to be the mesiodens. However, the result of the present study is very suggestive there could be some definite pattern of the retrogression of teeth in the mammals other than Haeckel's theory. |
