Abstract : 「抄録」 最近まで, フッ素が反応して直接発色するようなメカニズムは知られておらず, したがって, フッ素の比色定量法は, すべて, 色素の褪色を利用したもので, いわば, 間接的な定量法であった. しかし, 数年来開発されてきた新色素Alizarin Complexoneを応用したフッ素の定量法は, フッ素が反応して直接発色するもので, まったく革新的なものである. しかも, ごく最近, 同仁薬化学研究所から, この新色素とランタンをキレート化させ, さらに緩衝剤を添加した試薬"Alfusone"が発売され, 定量法が一段と簡易化された. 著者らは, この"Alfusone"を用いるフッ素の比色定量を追試検討し, 非常に優秀な微量比色定量法であることを確認した.

Abstract : Because there had been no known reaction in which fluoride will produce a color directly, all colorimetric procedures have been indirect or dye bleaching method. However, in these sevral years, a distinct development has been introduced : a new dye "Alizarin Complexone (ALC)" originated by Belcher et al, the cerium or lanthanum (La) chelate of which reacts with fluorine producing a color directly. Recently, "Alfusone" : ALC-La chelate in which buffer agent (pH≒5) is involved has been proposed by Research Laboratories of Dojindo & Co. LTD., (Japan) for purpose of simplicity and stability of technique. This technique has been introduced by Hashiya et al. Colorimetric method for fluorine with Alfusone was studied in this paper: (1) This method is far superior to the routine dye bleaching method in the accuracy, sensitivity, stability and simplicity. (2) This method has relatively high tolerance to interfering ions except Al+++ or Fe+++. Therefore, when the sample contains Al+++ or Fe+++, preliminary procedure with cation exchanger must be taken. (3) By this method, the possibility of fluorine determination is ranged from 0 to 30 μg. (4) The reproducibility of the technique is about +- 2%.
