Abstract : 「抄録」リンの比色定量法は, 大きく分けると, 数種のカテゴリーに類別されるが, 最もよく用いられているのは, リンモリブデン酸を還元して生ずるモリブデンブルーを比色する方法である. この還元方法に種々なものがあり, 多くの方法が報告されている: たとえば, SnCl2, フェニールヒドラジン, ハイドロキノン, アスコルビン酸, アミノナフトールスルフォン酸などである. 著者らは, p-aminodiphenylamine monohydrochlorideを用いる方法に着目し, その定量条件などを詳細に検討し, 非常に優秀な方法であることを認めた.

Abstract : The techniques of determination of phosphorus can be grouped into several categories. However, most of the techniques involve the photometric determination of the molybdenum blue formed by reduction of the molybdiphosphate under conditions which do riot reduce the excess molybdate present. The various reduction techniques that have been proposed differ chiefly in the reducing agent employed : stannous chloride, phenylhydrazine, hydroquinone, ascorbic acid, aminonaphtholsulfonic acid so on. In 1957, use of p-aminodiphenylamine monohydrochloride has been introduced by Dryer et al. This method was studied in this paper : (1) This method is far superior to the other method in the color stability, simplicity and sensitivity. The great sensitivity is owing to, in addition to the molybdenum blue formed, the blue color of the oxidized reagent itself. (2) This method has high tolerance to interfering ions. (3) By this method, the possibility of phosphorus determination is ranged from 0 to 8 μg. However, when the color is measured after about one hour, the possibility of it will be rised up to 10 μg at least. (4) The reproducibility of the tehnique is about +- 3%.
