| Abstract ： | 「まえがき」 癒合歯には癒着歯(Concrescent teeth), 融合歯(Fused teeth), 双生歯(Geminated teeth), 歯内歯(Dens in dente)がある. 双生歯とは正常歯と過剰歯が癒合したもの(Wedl, 藤田)といわれている. 著者(北村ら)は双生歯は1個の歯胚が2個に分かれたものであるという意見を出したことがあるが, それが不完全分離の過程であるものか, 分離して過剰歯胚が一度形成された後, 再び癒合したものかを肉眼解剖学的にも組織学的にも判定でもないからであり, ただ一度過剰歯胚が形成されてから再び部分的に組織破壊が起こって2次的に癒合する場合よりも, 不完全に分離した場合の方が発生頻度がはるかに高いと思われたからそのような提言をしたにすぎない. この度の第1例は組織学的に癒合歯であるといいにくいが, 不完全分離型の双生歯であるかもしれない. |

| Abstract ： | Seven macroscopically fused teeth are studied histologically. For X-ray photography all the fused teeth are prepared by casting a colored radiopaque medium into the pulp cavity under vacum condition. The following finding are obtained: 1) One of the cases is a single tooth 2| with an extraordinary lingual tubercle histologically. This tubercle resembles histologically a paramolar tubercle or Carabelli tubercle, 2) The remaining 6 cases are histologically fused teeth, 3) Fused enamel of the teeth contains usually many cell debris and unusually developed enamel tufts, 4) An enamel nucleus which contains a vacuole is found in one of the denticles of the fused teeth, 5) Fused dentin of the teeth contains very frequently less dentinal tubules and many cell debris. Above-mentioned stereoscopic X-ray picture is much more effective for understanding the structure of the fused teeth than the ordinary X-ray picture. |
