Abstract　： 「緒言」 乳歯歯髄腔の形態が単純なものであれば, 乳歯根管治療をおこなう上で, その処置は非常に簡単なものとなる. しかしその形態は非常に複雑なものである. そこで歯髄腔の基礎的形態を明らかにしておくことは解剖学的にも, 臨床学的にも, 絶対に必要なことであると思われる. 乳歯歯髄腔の形態学的研究は永々歯のそれに比較して報告し少なく, Zuscher, Hesswが報告を行った以来, Edwin, Ralph, 奥村, 小野, 佐藤等の研究者により根管の分枝状態が研究された. しかしそれらの報告ではその症例数も少ない. そこで我々は, 葭内等の考案した真空注入法を用い, 乳歯歯髄腔の形態を観察し, その成績を出したのでここに報告する. 「研究材料」 当教室所蔵の解剖学的形態を有した邦人乳歯抜去歯牙, 418本(808例)を用いた. 供用歯は (1) 歯牙の部位及び近遠心頬舌側が判定できるもの. (2) 歯根に著しい吸収が無いこと. (3) 奇形歯でないこと. 等を条件として選択した.

Abstract　： There are numerous reports concerning the study of the shape and form of the root canal of permanent teeth. However, with exception of Zucher, there are no reports concerning the comprehensive study of the morphology of the root canals of deciduous teeth. Using the vacume injection method of Yoshiuchi and Takahashi, we have injected a colored radiopaque material into the root canals through the apical foramen of the root, and surveied the root canals of deciduous teeth. In order to treat clinical problems of deciduous teeth, we must understand the basic, anatomical structure of the teeth. We have studies this problem and are reporting herewith.
