| Abstract ： | 「抄録」 Streptococcus mutansと乳歯う蝕発生との関連性に関する研究の一環として乳歯う蝕発生期である2～3才以前の時点におけるStrep.mutansの分布状態の検査を試みた. 生後13ヵ月から17ヵ月の無う蝕児30名を対象とし, 一定量の歯垢を採取し, Strep.mutans並びに類似レンサ球菌および乳酸桿菌とカンジダの検出を行い生菌数を検べた. その結果, 各菌の検出率はStrep.sanguisが最も多く70%であり, Strep.bovis 56.7%, Strep.mutans 46.7%, Strep.saivarius 26.7%, Strep.mitis 23.3%, Strep.lactis 16.7%, Strep.faecalis 0%, Others 100%, 乳酸桿菌30%, カンジダ26.7%であった. 生菌数の総レンサ球菌に対する比率はStrep.mutansが28.6%でOthersを除いて最も高い値を示した. 歯垢の一部を蔗糖加培地に培養し, pH低下の程度により4群に区別し, 各群別に各菌の検出率と検出菌数を比校すると, Strep.mutansおよびカンジダが多く検出された歯垢ほど強い酸産生度を示すことが認められた. |

| Abstract ： | In the investigations of the relationship between the Streptococcus mutans and the initiation of dental caries in the deciduous teeth, Strep. mutans and various Streptococci and Lactobacillus and Candida have been cultured from the dental ploque of 30 children, aged 13 to 17 months, had no caries at oral examination. The detection rate of Strep. mutans were abot 46%, and it showed that above value is lower than the rate of Strep. sanguis, but the ratio of this microbe to total Streptococci were about 28%, and it was higher than that of Strep. sanguis. On the other hand, a part of plaque materials were cultured in the sucrose containing medium, and the correlation was observed between the acid productivity to the detection rate of Strep. mutans, the ratio of Strep. mutans to total Streptococci and the detection of Candida. |
