Abstract : 「抄録」唾液の分泌を人工的に停止させた時に生ずる細胞内の形態的変化を観察する目的で, ラットに硫酸アトロピンを投与し電子顕微鏡で観察した. 硫酸アトロピンによって, ラットの唾液腺終末細胞は形態的変化を受けることがわかった. 分泌顆粒は細胞内で多数が癒合して顆粒塊を形成し, また, 他の分泌顆粒と癒合しないものは内容物の高濃度化をはかっている. また, 顆粒塊の周囲からは単独の分泌顆粒が癒合しつつある形状が得られた. 細胞内の形状は強く変化しているが, 分泌顆粒の形成は持続しているものと思われた. 分泌顆粒の合成過程のうち, ゴルジ装置を経過したあとの段階で混乱が生じたものと考えられ, また, 分泌顆粒の放出過程にも影響をあたえることが考えられた.

Abstract : Inoder to observe morphologic changes that occur in the salivary gland cells upon artificially arresting the secretion of saliva, rats were treated with atoropine sulfate, and their salivary glands were electron microscopic study. The treatment with atropine sulfate obviously forced the rat submandibular gland terminal cells to undergo morphologic changes. Many secretory granules were fused together in the cells to form masses of secretory granules, and the isolated secretory granules showed the concentration of their contents. The masses of secretory granules also had the independent secretory granules in the adjacent area being fused with the masses. The inside of each cell underwent intense morphologic changes, but the formation of secretory granules appeared to be going on. The artificial arrest of the secretion of saliva appeared to give rise to confusions in the step after the formation of Golgi apparatus out of the secretroy granule synthesizing process, and also appeared influential on the secretory granule releasing process.
