| Abstract ： | 「I 緒言」近年う蝕が伝染性の疾患であり, 人のう蝕活動性の歯牙病巣のプラークより分離された連鎖球菌が, う蝕原性を有することが動物実験により明らかにされた. う蝕原性を有する連鎖球菌のうちでも, Streptococcus mutans(以下Str.mutans)は, sucroseより生成する不溶性dextranの粘着性とその細菌菌体凝集性およびその比較的低いpH域での高い乳酸産生能により, 他のStr.sanguisやStr.salivatiusなどに比べて, 高いう蝕原性を有することが知られている. 連鎖球菌は人の歯垢中の培養可能な細菌の多くを占めているが, 無う蝕歯の児童の歯垢または一般健全歯の歯面では, Str.sanguisが全連鎖球菌に対する比率が一番高く, 逆にう蝕の発生する直前, または新生のう窩がある歯牙の歯面では, Str.mutansが高い比率を占め, う蝕の発生に伴って, いわゆる歯垢の細菌叢に変動がみられる. |

| Abstract ： | Streptococcus lytic bacteria were isolated from dental plaque samples on buccal surface of upper first molar by lytic zones forming on agar plate containing Str. mutans E-49 dead cell (ML agar plate). Almost two patterns of lytic zones could be delineated on the basis of their morphology on ML agar plate. The one had hazy edge and narrow zone, the other sharp edge and thick zone. The detection rate and ratio to total bacteria of Str. mutans lytic bacteria in dental plaque samples were higher in caries free children than caries active children. Str. mutans lytic bacteria appeared to form lytic zones on ML agar plate against all strains of cariogenic Str. mutans differed from origin and serological types, and to be gram positive and coccoid. |
