| Abstract ： | 「はじめに」 行動歯科学分野に対する関心は, 最近かなりたかまってきたが, まだそれほど研究が行なわれているわけではない. 特に, 心理学的分野での研究も十分にみられているものでもない. かつて, Suttonがストレスとう蝕についての文献を総説してある程度の関係のあることを示唆しており, 最近ではAyerおよびHirschmanが編集して心理学と歯学と題した行動歯科学的著書を出版している. 著者はヒトの気質と口腔内諸状態との関連を観察し, ある程度の傾向が見られることを示唆したが, 過去の歯科治療におけるいやな経験がヒトにどの程度の歯科恐怖感を内在させ, しかもそれが口腔内状態にどのように反映するものかに興味を持った. しかし, この面に関する研究もほとんど見られず, 歯科治療に対する不安感をどのようにして測定するのか, その尺度そのものについても, 完成されたものがあるわけではない. |

| Abstract ： | 275 female students in a girl's high school [15-18 years] who have experienced some dental treatments within last three years were given the questionnaire prepared for the scale of dental anxiety. They were divided into three groups : group A constituted of the subjects having a weaker fear against dental treatment, group B of those having a medium fear and group C of those having a stronger fear. Among these groups, no differences on the frequency of daily toothbrushing, the frequency of daily betweenmeal and the degree of preference to sweets were found. All samples were given dental examination including of DI-S score (Vermillion's), anterior PMA score and DMF count. Results of the present study are summarized as follows : 1. Among these groups, no differences were found on the scores of DI-S, PMA and DMFT index. 2. No differences were found on the levels of DT ratio and MT ratio. However, FT ratio of group A was higher than that of group C, and that of group B was lowest. 3. A tenddency to having the lost teeth replaced among these three groups was highest in group A and lowest in group C. |
