Abstract : Ten cases of fused primary front teeth, i. e. 6 cases of 「AB, one case of BA| and 2 cases of 「BC picked up from the extracted samples were studied histologically. Macroscopic pictures, measurement values, X-ray pictures of these teeth were also presented. Further the number and location of the fused primary front teeth were obtained from a number of previous workers' papers. This and the result of the present study on the 10 fused teeth were discussed. The following findings were obtained : 1) Fused enamel of the teeth contained very frequently more enamel lamellae and tufts, dislocation of parazones of enamel prisms, distorted, malformed or undercalcified enamel prisms and many cell debris. 2) The enamel on the fused side of the fused teeth was thinner than that on the nonfused side. 3) Fused dentin of the fused teeth contained very frequently lesser number of dentinal tubules and many cell debris, and less frequently malformed or underdeveloped dentinal tubules, and well-shaped Schreger' lines closely to the fused areas. Up to date the number of the fused primary front teeth including the present cases which have been reported is 1185 in all : 108 in the upper jaw and 1077 in the lower jaw. Wheres that of the geminated primary front teeth is 70 in all : 30 in the upper jaw and 40 in the lower jaw.
