| Abstract ： | 著者らは今までに歯の位置交換例を10例観察し, その発現機構について発表した. 最近経験した歯の位置交換例には側切歯の重複がみられた. 側切歯の重複が歯の位置交換に関わりをもつと思われる例は, この症例を加えて5例になるので, この5例に先人の同様な5症例を一括して2の重複と歯の位置交換の因果関係について考察する. 「例考」 1. 43才の女性. 1の舌側は約30°正中方向に捻転し, 3は1と2の間で舌側転位をしているだけでなく, 45°捻転し, 遠心縁を唇側に向けている. 2は重複となり, その唇側の片割れは切縁が磨耗した乳犬歯様であるが, レントゲン像では乳犬歯ではない. 他方の側切歯の片割れは約90°捻転している. 4はほぼ正常位にあるが, 5は舌側咬頭が近心位に寄るように約45°捻転している. 6は正常位にあるが, 7は欠如している. 1」-7」はすべて萌出し, 21」を除けば整然とした歯列弓をしている. |

| Abstract ： | Ten cases with duplicated lateral incisors, in which 3 cases are associated with transposition of 2 and 3, and remaining 7 cases are associated with that of 3 and 4. The relation of incidence of transposition of the teeth to the duplication of the lateral incisors is discussed from the standpoint of embryology. |
