Abstract　： 「緒言」 成人女子に発症し, 口腔内病変を伴った多発性の異物巨細胞性肉芽腫症の一例を経験した. 組織学的に特異な形態像を呈し, 脂肪代謝異常が原因と考えられた症例で, 成人に発症した本症例の如き特異な異物肉芽腫症は, 我々の知り得た範囲では, 未だ他にその報告をみない. そこで口腔内病変を中心にして, 臨床的, 病理組織学的及び電子顕微鏡的観察を行なったので, その概要を報告する. 「症例」48才, 女性 患者は, 8年前より虫垂切除瘢痕部に示指頭大の硬結に気付いたが, 特に治療せず放置していた. 疼痛その他自覚症状はないが, 硬結が漸時増大し, 小児手拳大となったため, 52年11月稲田登戸病院を受診, 同病院にて腫瘤摘出術を行なった. 初診時検査にて, 両側上腕部にも腫瘤硬結を認め, 53年1月同部の腫瘤摘出を行なった.

Abstract　： We experienced a case of specific foreign body granulomatosis with oral lesion that was probably induced by the disturbance of fatty metabolism. The patient, a 48 year old woman, was admitted to an hospital complaining of the painless nodule in the right lower abdomen. Subsequently, similar nodules have been observed in the bilateral upper arms and the gingival regions. The histologic examinations of the resected tissue shows a marked granulomatous reaction consisting of giant cells and histiocytes. Many of the giant cells are observed around the foreign body filled with lipid droplets, however, there are absent the adipose cell as well as the fat necrosis. The case is likely that trauma plays a role in the development of the lesion. No such case was found in the available literatures.
