| Abstract ： | 「はじめに」歯学教育においては, 多くの知識と高度な技術を習得させる必要性から, 効果的な教育方法の検討をすることが重要な問題である. とりわけ口腔内という特定の環境における支台歯形成法の習得には, 主として経験と勘によるところが多く, これを客観的に習得させることは困難な場合が多い. また支台歯形成は歯冠補綴物を製作するにあたり基礎となる重要な術式であり, その基本的事項の1つとして, 最少の歯牙切削量によって行うことがあげられる. 即ち, 適切なテーパーを支台歯側壁に付与するということである. ここで, 支台歯側壁に付与すべきテーパーはおよそ5～10°とされている. また, 形成に使用するバーも, 通常5～10°のテーパーをやっていることから, 理想的な支台歯側壁の形態はハンドピースを平行に動かすことにより付与することができる. しかしながら, 平行に動かす操作は初心者にとって困難な場合が多く, 少なからぬ訓練を必要とするのが常である. そこで著者らは, 臨床で支台歯形成を行う際の安全性の確保と切削技術の向上を効果的に行う訓練法を開する目的で, 教育器材としての平行形成器による教育効果の促進化に着目してその応用を試みてきた. |

| Abstract ： | Proper tooth preparation is one of the fundamental requirements in construction of crown and bridge restorations, However, there exsits the various factors considering the performance of the proper tooth preparation in patient's mouth. Therefore, from both practical and educational view points, the parallelometer was newly developed with attachment to the grip of the supplementary device and a signal is alarmed simultaneously when the vertical angle of bur is not proper to the abutments. This technique also can be useful for the preparation when a subject does at free-hand. Consequently, this contributes to perform the efficient manupulation for procedure of tooth preparation. An experiment was conducted on the efficiency of this device when tooth preparation was conducted for mandibular right 1st molar tooth. In this study, 13 subjects were selected from 5th grade dental students of Kanagawa Dental College and the following results were obtained. 1. This supplementary device is definitely efficient for tooth preparation, especially medio-distal direction. 2. An application of auditory sence was also proved to be useful for proper tooth preparation. 3. This study showed a supplementary divice was proved to be efficient for both practical and educational means. |
