Abstract : 「緒言」現在, 金属床の製作法としては, 最も一般的な鋳造法と圧印法が主流となっている. また, これらに対しては製作精度の向上及び操作の簡素化等が計られつつあるが, なお問題点を残しており多くの研究がなされている. 一方, 優れた加工精度を利用した電鋳加工法により, 新しい金属床の製作法が試みられ, Rogers, 野口, 沢田らによって臨床応用への可能性について示唆されてきた. また, 林は床用材料として電鋳金属の機械的性質や耐蝕性などの向上を目的として標準単極電位の近似したニッケル・コバルト合金による電着実験を行い, 電着体が床用合金として充分満足し得るものであることを報告した. しかし, いずれの研究においても, 低電流による電鋳加工のため電鋳体の完成までには長時間を要していた. したがって, 電流効率を低下させることなく, 時間の短縮化を計るためには, 高電流密度による電着が必要であると考えらる.

Abstract : [Abstract]: The Electroforming has been recently introduced into the field of prosthodontics in fabricating the metal plate denture due to it's accuracy of the denture adaptation on the residual ridge. However, a few references were found in the literature only pertaining to electroforming a single metal element or to repeated electroforming on the same model. The purposes of this experiment are to fabricate a plate of nickel cobalt alloy for denture by high speed electroforming apparatus which makes possible to shorten the fabricating time and to evaluate the influence of palatal form of models on the electroforming. Three types of models different in the depth of palate were designed, assuming an upper edentulous mouth. The electroforming was performed in the sulfamate base system on the models. The results from the experiment were as as follows. 1. Metal plate of nickel cobalt alloy for denture could be successfully fabricated by high speed electroforming. 2. Alloy elements showed an even distribution in the plate regardless of parts of palate and ridge. 3. Nickel cobalt alloy deposits were produced with 50 per cent of cobalt concentration by weight in maximun. 4. The electroforming was conducted with high current intensity by this system, the current efficiency being close to 100 per cent. 5. A little differences in thickness of electroformed plates were recognized among the types of models and between parts of palate and ridge, but not shown in palate.
