Abstract : 「緒言」イヌの舌には体温の調節を行う生理的機能のあることが知られており, そこには動静脈吻合の存在が認められている. 微小循環において細動脈と細静脈の間を直接交通するこのような吻合形態は決して少なくないが, 確認されているものとしてはヒトの皮膚のうち, 指, 趾, 鼻, 肘, 口唇, 耳などの突出部や人体の先端部に密集して存在する〔Clara, Grant, 鎌田, 原, 入内島〕. また皮膚以外にもヒトの消化管の粘膜, 尾骨小体, 生殖器の勃起組織に存在する. 動物においても同様の傾向にあり, ウサギの耳介〔Clark and Clark, Clark, 高橋〕, ネコの腸間膜, 膀胱, イヌ及びネコの膵臓, 甲状腺, 胸腺, 〔垣田〕に動静脈吻合が認められている. また舌に関しては, ヒトでは稀であり〔Mark〕, ウサギ, モルモット, ネコにはみられず, 〔Dabelow〕, ヒツジ, ヤギ〔prichard〕やイヌには多数存在するという〔Prichard, Brown, Miyata, Hellekent, 岸〕.

Title : A Three Dimentional Observation on Arteriovenous Anastomoses in Dog Tongue Using Corrosive Resin Cast

Abstract : [Abstract]: The purpose of the present investigation was to determine the frequency of the AVA (arteriovenous anastmoses), and their structual characteristics in dog tongue by fabrication of the vascular micro-corrosive resin casts and examination under a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results were as follows : 1) This method permitted not only the visualization of the three dimentional characteristics of AVA, but also a clear differentiation between arteriole and venule by imprints of the luminal walls. 2) Several essential types of AVA such as S-shape and its similar type showed overwhelming majority and, some of them observed Y-shaped type which have never been reported heretofore. 3) The total number of AVA in the tongue was 4657 and the frequency of appearance of AVA of seven parts, examining from the tip to the root, was 6.9, 4.0, 3.8, 2.3, 0.8, 0.5 and 0.03 AVA per millimeter square and total frequency was 2.2 AVA per millimeter square. 4) It is indicated that the high frequency and strategic location of AVA shows that AVA in the dog tongue participate in thermo regulation.
