| Abstract ： | 「緒言」骨格性反対咬合の歯科矯正学的な咬合の再構成, あるいは咬合の管理育成は日本における歯科矯正学の主要課題のひとつである. 骨格性反対咬合の咬合改善においては, その不正咬合の成立原因の把握, 動的治療における咬合再構成の手順の検討などとともに, 術後の咬合管理をいかに進めるかということが重要である. とくに, 術後の後戻り変化に対する配慮は安定な咬合を得るうえで重要な鍵となっている. しかし, 骨格性反対咬合の後戻り変化については, その原因や対策に関する知見が乏しく, 術後の咬合管理を進めていく上での問題点となっている. 一般的に, 骨格性反対咬合の後戻りは, 下顎骨の成長が術後も存続することに起因すると考えられている. 通常この成長は思春期成長が終了しても, なお下顎骨の成長のみが継続することから, late growthと呼ばれ, 術後の咬合管理の中で最も注意すべき項目となっている. しかし, 顎顔面骨格の成長は, 遺伝的因子よりも環境因子の影響が強いとも考えられ, 環境要因としての正常な咬合機能が正常な顎顔面の成長を誘導すると考えられている. |

| Abstract ： | Abstract : Much has been stated concerning the recurrence of the corrected Class III malocclusion although it is still not clearly understood how the post-treatment relapse are induced. This study investigated the changes of denture frame of the recurred skeletal Class III cases which had been treated orthodontically and once established acceptable functional occlusion. All of these cases showed inferiorly positioned maxillary molars due to the posterior discrepancy during the treatment and retention phases. Comparing with those of the acceptable functional occlusion befor recurrence, the occlusal planes of these cases were less steep approximately 3°, AB-MP angle was decreased approximately 4° due to the forward displacement of mandible. These findings indicated that the post-treatment relapse in Class III malocclusion was associated with changes of occlusal plane due to posterior discrepancy and subsequent functional displacement of the mandible followed by adaptive growth of condyle. |
