Abstract : 「緒言」法医歯科学領域において, 血液型から遺伝子頻度を明らかにすることは興味ある問題である. そこで, 沖縄県那覇の北西約95.4kmの離島である伊是名島の住民739名について集団検診を行った. 検査試料は, 検診時に採血を行った血液から赤血球型としてABOシステム, MNシステム, Rhシステム, Lewisシステム, Pシステムの5種類, および血清型としてHP(haptoglobin)システム, Gc(group-specific component)システム, Tf(transferrin)システムの3種類についてその遺伝的多型性を検出し, それらの表現型出現頻度と遺伝子頻度を明らかにしたので報告する. 「調査試料および検出法」 I. 調査試料 試料は昭和62年5月に沖縄県伊是名島で集団検診を実施した際に採血した739名の血液を用いた. ABOシステム : 725例, MNシステム : 674例, Rhシステム : 716例, Lewisシステム : 401例, Pシステム : 100例, Hpシステム : 106例, Gcシステム : 109例, Tfシステム : 108例について検査した.

Title : Gene Frequencies of Blood Polymorphisms in the Japanese Population of the Izena Island

Abstract : Abstract : This report presens data on the distribution of the phenotypes and the gene frequencies among the population of Izena Island (Okinawa), surveyed and calculated, using ABO, MN, P, Rh, Lewis, Hp, Gc and Tf systems for genetic markers. ABO system : The gene frequencies among 725 members of the Izena population were A (p)=0.167, B (q)=0.140 and O (r)=0.693, respectively. MN system : The gene frequencies among 674 inhabitants were M (s)=0.585 and N (t)=0.415. Rh system : 716 blood samples were tested only with anti-Rho (D). The frequencies were 0.925 for Rh positive (Rh+) and 0.075 for Rh negative (Rh-). Lewis system : The gene frequencies among 401 inhabitants were Lea=0.499, Leb=0.428 and Lec=0.073, respectively. Psystem : 100 blood samples were tested only with anti-P. The frequencies were 0.140 for P positive (P+) and 0.860 for P negative (P-). Hp system : The gene frequencies among 106 inhabitants were Hp1=0.2170 and Hp2=0.7830. Gc system : The gene frequencies among 109 inhabitants were Gc1F=0.5000, Gc1s=0.3073 and Gc2=0.1927, respectively. Tf system : The gene frequencies among 108 inhabitants were Tfc1=0.6759, Tfc2=0.3102 and TfD=0.0139, respectively. The gene frequencies among the Izena population of O (r), Lec, Hp2 and Gc1, were found to be higher than those among the Tokyo population. Curiously, the gene frequencies among the Izena population of O (r) were almost the same as those among the population of Saigon, Vietnam (about 0.673). The gene frequencies other than O (r), however, increased as the survey went form Izena Island south to the equator.
