| Abstract ： | 「はじめに」職場は家庭とともに人生の大きな部分を占めるものである. 職場がどのような状況であるかは, 個人の健康や人生に大きな影響を及ぼす. 現在, 職場における問題の一つとして精神面での保健が取り上げられている. これは, 労働安全衛生法に基づき労働省が推進しているTHP(Total Health Promotion Plan)の中で, 具体的な対応がなされているもので, 精神面における健康管理の重要性が認識されてきている. この背景としては, 職場における身体的な問題がかなり改善されてきたため, 心の問題が注目されてきていることがある. また職場における作業の効率化の追求, 管理体制の強化, そしてコンピューターの導入などにより, 精神的なストレスを生じる職場が広がってきていることも考えられる. 歯科医療は高度の判断と細かな手仕事が要求され, 精神的な緊張の高い仕事と考えられる. そして小児から老人にいたる様々な患者と対応していかなければならない. |

| Abstract ： | Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate mental stress accompanied with dental treatment. Questionnaires, about how to feel mental stress, dental practice condition, physical condition and some life style, were sent to 200 dentists on May 1988. 108 questionnaires were recovered (recovery rate 54.0%), 105 of which were totalized and analyzed. The following results were obtained. 1. Dentists could be separated three groups depending on the degree of mental stress: high sensitive group 25.7(%) moderately sensitive group 47.6 low sensitive group 26.7 2. It was considered that the individual character of dentist and the busyness of dental service were related principally to feeling stress. The high sensitive group was more nervous and more busy in dental service compared with moderately and/or low sensitive group. 3. The objects caused mental stress were as follows. 1) A kind of dental service: Difficult case, Extraction, Surgical treatment 2) Relationship between dentist and patient: 3) Crowd of patient: 4) Problem on the stuff: 5) Others: Social problem of dentist and dental system 4. In some dentist, it seemed that the mental stress could affect a sleep and digestive organs (especilly stomach). |
