| Abstract ： | 「緒言」Porphyromonas gingivalisは進行性歯周炎の病巣から高頻度かつ高率に分離されることや歯肉縁下における増加と歯槽骨破壊の急激な進行との間に相関が見られることなどから成人性歯周炎の病原細菌のひとつと考えられている. また歯周病患者における本菌に対する抗体価の上昇は, 本菌の歯周局所への定着ならびに増殖を反映するものと考えられており, 同抗体価の変動をdisease activityの指標として応用することの有用性が報告されている. 従って歯周炎患者血清中のP.gingivalisに対する抗体を検出するための特異抗原が必要である. しかし一般的に菌体から特異抗原を精製することは極めて困難であり, 最近では遺伝子組み換え技術を用いた組換え体タンパク質として調製されることが多い. |

| Abstract ： | Abstract: It has been suggested that, Porphyromonas gingivalis is one of the most important pathogens that can cause the adult periodontitis. In fact, this osganism is frequently detected from the focus of periodontitis and correlation between the drastic alveolar bone destruction and the increase of the population of this organism is also demonstrated. Hence, surveying for the antibody titer against P. gingivalis may be instructive for assessment of RPP. In this study, antibody against P. gingivalis in the adult periodontitis patients' sera were examined using recombinanat 55K-hemaggulution related protein (HRP) by western blotting. As a result 5 of the 16 sera of adult periodontitis patients reacted to the HRP. In view of this result, not all of the adult periodontitis patients are sensitized by the HRP, indicating that there may be several cases of interaction between the host and parasite in this disease. |
