| Abstract ： | 「緒言」頭部X線規格写真(以下セファロ)が矯正領域に導入されて以来, 多くの応用が発表され, その有用性が証明された. 顎顔面形態の数量表示から始まったセファロ診断学は, 角度と距離の計測値の評価から頭蓋の図形化へと進んだ. その代表的なものがプロフィログラムで, 1959年に坂本は, sella turcicaを原点とし, FH平面を基準に重ね合わせを行う日本人顔面頭蓋の成長を示すプロフィログラムを発表した. また, 三浦は, 1972年, 臨床矯正におけるコンピュータの利用を概説した中で, sellaを原点としてSN平面を基準としたプロフィログラムを紹介した. その後1985年に作田らにより頭部X線規格写真分析を含むデータベースシステムが構築され, その中で標準プロフィログラムとの重ね合わせが行われた. さらに最近でも長岡らによりプロフィログラムのデータの更新が行われている. このように, セファロ分析における標準プロフィログラムとの重ね合わせは, マニュアルからコンピュータ化され, 簡便で有効な分析手段として, 現在でも頻用されている. |

| Abstract ： | [Abstract]: The CAS (computer aided superimposing) system is the new method of superimposing the profilograms (facial diagrams) on the many points that composed the skeletal landmarks. The distinctive features of the programming were the feedback and the enormous amount of computing the mean values. Sakamoto's profilograms were used as the samples. The system is capable of trying to superimpose around the one profirogram, of exploring the nearer superimposing, and of hunting the goal that showed the nearest superimposing on the another one. By the CAS system, Sakamoto's profilograms were analyzed for the growth rate and so on. The results were obtained as follows : 1. It was recognized that the growth changes were analogous as a whole, but the horizontal growth change of the upper face was poor. 2. It was supposed that the mean annual growth rates of male and female were 2.8% as the whole growth rate and 1.6% as the horizontal growth rate of the upper face. 3. By the mean annual growth rates, the amounts of the remaining growth after 13 years old were supposed. The amount of male was 43 months, and the amount of female was 22 months. |
