Abstract　： 「諸言」災害時の歯科保健医療対応は, 1993年の北海道南西沖地震において, 津波被害を受けた奥尻島民に対して北海道医療大学の歯科医師らが即時義歯の作製を行ったのが本邦での記録に残る最も古いものであると考えられる. 1995年の阪神・淡路大震災においては, 「入れ歯をなくしたお年寄りが, 冷えて固くなったおにぎりが食べられない」という現状に対し, 地域の歯科医療者を中心に, 多くの支援者とともに応急歯科診療が提供された. その後, 口腔ケアにより要介護高齢者の誤嚥性肺炎を減らせることが明らかとなり, 阪神・淡路大震災後の災害関連死の24%を占めた誤嚥性肺炎の予防としての「災害時の口腔ケア」が提唱された. これらは, 2004年の新潟県中越地震, 2007年の能登半島地震, 新潟県中越沖地震において, 行政・歯科医師会・大学などが連携しての要支援高齢者に対する巡回口腔ケア活動という形で行われ, 組織的な災害時歯科保健医療体制のあり方が形作られてきた.

Abstract　： [Abstract] Dental healthcare aid is well known after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. It gets more important in dental education, because it was put on revised "model core curriculum for dental education" in 2010, also on "standard questions for national examination of dental license" in 2014. 16 (55.2%) dental faculties have subject about disaster dental healthcare, and unique programs such as observation at the disaster area or group discussion were performed as well. We expect it will be held in all the facilities, following the standardized documents and methods.
